Movement for Social Humanism

The Movement for Social Humanism is a small party which is part of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) led Coalition for Bulgaria. The DSH is a splinter group from the Bulgarian Social Democratic Party (BSDP). The party describes itself as social democratic and is led by Alexander Radoslavov.
The Coalition achieved 48 seats in the 240 seat National Assembly in 2001, did better in 2005 where it was the largest grouping with 82 seats, but fell back to 40 seats in 2009.
In the 2013 general election the Coalition for Bulgaria did better, winning 84 seats of which the DSH holds one seat in the National Assembly.
