Democratic Convergence Party

The Democratic Convergence Party was formed in 1994 by a breakaway group from the Movement for Democracy.
The PCD which describes itself as a centrist party won one seat in the 1995 general election with 6.7% of the vote.
It contested the 2001 elections under the Democratic Alliance for Change (ADM) banner which won two seats in the National Assembly.
They did not contest the 2006 elections.
