Croatian Social Democrats

The Croatian Social Democrats were founded in 2004 from a group which left the Social Democratic Party (SDP). It describes itself as left wing.
The party fought the 2007 election as part of a four party alliance but was unsuccessful in winning a seat, taking just 0.4% of the vote. They hold parliamentary representation because they gained a crossover, Ivica Pančić, from the SDP in 2009.
