On Sunday 6th May, François Hollande was elected as the new president of France. The result was not a surprise and Hollande had been leading in the opinion polls all year. He was formally sworn in on 15th May and very quickly afterwards he appointed a prime minister and cabinet. All of these are recorded as news items on the France page at politicsabroad.com....
