Liberty Forward Party

The Liberty Forward Party or LFP was founded on 1st February 2008 by Lee Hoi-chang, a former presidential candidate with the Grand National Party (GNP). The party describes itself as right wing and believes in Conservatism and Liberal Conservatism.
Soon after its formation the party merged with the People First Party (PFP). In the subsequent April 2008 election the party won 18 of the 299 seats in the National Assembly. It is currently the third largest party in the parliament.
