Non Partisan Solidarity Union

Published 30th December, 2011

The Non Partisan Solidarity Union is a small party established in June 2004.

In its first electoral outing it did well, winning six seats in the 2004 legislative elections out of a possible 225 seats in the Legislative Yuan. In 2008 they also did well, taking three seats in the reduced Legislative Yuan with 113 seats.

It does not ally itself with either of the two coalitions and refuses to make any statements about the political status of Taiwan.
