The Congress of the People (COP) is one of four parties making up the coalition known as the People’s Partnership which won the 2010 general election. They are part of the current government of Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar.

Formed in 2006 they describe themselves as Centre-left and believe in Democratic socialism, social liberalism, social democracy and the Third Way. Currently they have six seats in the 41 seat House of Representatives.

The Tobago Organisation of the People (TOP) is one of four parties making up the coalition known as the People’s Partnership which won the 2010 general election. They are part of the current government of Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar. They currently hold four seats in the House of Representatives.

The National Joint Action Committee (NJAC) is one of four parties making up the coalition known as the People’s Partnership which won the 2010 general election. They are part of the current government of Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar.
