The Democratic Forum for Labour and Liberties or FDTL was founded in 1994 but not recognised until 2002. It describes itself as centre-left and believes in social democracy.

The party has had no representation since its foundation.

The Democratic Forum for Labour and Liberties is a consultative member of Socialist International.
