Presidential 2014


The election took place in two rounds, on 13 and 27 April 2014. In the first round results were as follows:

Gjorge Ivanov (Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization – Democratic Party for
Macedonian National Unity) 51.59%
Stevo Pendarovski (Social Democratic Union) 37.51%
Iljaz Halimi (Democratic Party of Albanians) 4.48%
Zoran Popovski (Citizen Option for Macedonia) 3.61%

Registered electors: 1,779,572
Votes: 869,617
Turnout: 48.86%

In the second round runoff, which took place on 27 April 2014, Stevo Pendarovski received 41.14% of the vote. Gjorge Ivanov received 55.28% of the vote and was therefore elected president. Turnout in the second round was 54.38%.
