Parliamentary 2014

An election to the House of Representatives took place onĀ 25 June 2014.

All candidates stood as independents, as party lists were forbidden under the new electoral system. Of the 200 seats, only 188 were announced on 22 July; the results for the remaining 12 were delayed due to boycotting or insecurity in some constituencies.

Turnout was down to around 18%.
