The election took place in two rounds, on 25 October and 22 November 2015.

In the first round results were as follows:

Mauricio Macri (Cambiemos) 34.15%
Daniel Scioli (Front for Victory) 37.08%
Sergio Massa (United for a New Alternative) 21.39%
Nicolás del Caño (Workers’ Left Front) 3.23%
Margarita Stolbizer (Progresistas) 2.51%
Adolfo Rodríguez Saá (Federal Commitment) 1.64%

Registered electors:
Votes: 26,048,446
Turnout: 81.23%%

In the second round run-off, which took place on 22 November, Daniel Scioli received 48.66% of the vote. Mauricio Macri received 51.34% of the vote and was therefore elected president. Turnout in the second round was 80.93%.
