Gap narrows in final week

The gap between Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s Civic Platform (PO) and the main opposition party, Law and Justice (PiS), of Jaroslav Kaczyński has narrowed to just one percentage point.

The latest poll by Homo Homini for Polskie Radio puts the Civic Platform on 30% and Law and Justice on 29%. During the course of the campaign the gap has narrowed by between 5% and 6%.

Both the Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) and Polish People’s Party (PSL) have around 10% of the vote.

Polling day is this coming Sunday, 9th October.
