Manifesto launches

Published

As the 20th September presidential and general election swings into action three political parties have published their manifestos.

The ruling Movement for Multi-Party Democracy (MMD) manifesto is entitled ‘Development by all, for all’ and is 46 pages taken up largely with past achievements and some policy pledges.

The main opposition Patriotic Front (PF) manifesto does not have a title as such but their strap line is ‘For lower taxes, more jobs and more money in your pockets’. It is a pretty solid 52 pages of policy pledges.

The much smaller National Restoration Party (NAREP) which was launched on 2nd March 2010 has created a thoughtful manifesto. The manifesto has been published on their website but, as yet, is not available in downloadable format.
