More victories for Romney and Santorum

Rick Santorum comfortably picked up Kansas yesterday, taking 51% of the vote and the majority of the 40 delegates available. Mitt Romney came second on 20.9%; Gingrich with 14.4% and Ron Paul on 12.2% trailed behind.

Whilst Rick Santorum won Kansas, Romney was able to pick up Wyoming which had started voting earlier in the week. Romney will take seven of the 12 delegates in the state with Santorum taking three; Paul took one and one remains uncommitted.

In the three small Pacific territories voting yesterday, Romney had a clean sweep in Guam and the Northern Marianas, adding 18 delegates to his total. In the Virgin Islands Romney won seven of the nine delegates, with Ron Paul taking one and one remaining uncommitted.
