Toledo ahead in opinion polls

Alejandro Toledo is leading in opinion polls ahead of April’s elections. 

The former  President (2001 – 2006) heads the poll with 27%, former Lima Mayor Luis Castaneda has 22% and Congresswoman Keiko Fujimori has 20%.

The poll was undertaken by Datum with a face to face sample of 1,202 people across 114 cities and originally reported in Peru 21 on Friday.
