AK heading for victory


The ruling Justice and Development Party (AK) is standing on 48.7% of the vote according to a new poll conducted by pollster Genar published in the Sabah newspaper. That is 2.1 percentage points higher than their 46.6% recorded at the last general election in 2007.

The poll surveyed 2,250 voters across 60 districts and gave the Republican People’s Party (CHP) 25%, the Nationalist Action Party (MHP) 11.9% and the Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) 6.4%.

Polling day is on 12th June.
