General Election in March more likely

Published

A general election looks more certain for March now that the dates of the passing of the December budget have been published. The Bill should be passed by 25th February and the election, if called the same day, would be three weeks later.

Meanwhile a new poll by RedC published in the Irish Times shows Fine Gael up one point to 35%; Labour down two to 21%; Fianna Fáil down three on 14% and Sinn Féin on 14%.
