General election on 28th June

The State Great Hural, the Mongolian parliament, has agreed that a general election will be held on 28th June 2012. Mongolian residents abroad will vote on 10th June.

The Labour Party of All Mongolia (LPAM) and Republican Party have announced that they will form a National Grand Coalition to fight the general election.

The Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party (MPRP) and the Mongolian National Democratic Party (MNDP) have also announced a coalition for the general election called the Third Party Coalition and have invited other parties to join them.
