Georgian Dream wins further seats

Following complaints about electoral procedure by Georgian Dream at 11 polling stations, fresh elections have been held in 3 single-seat constituencies. The by-elections took place in Sighnaghi, Gori and Khashuri and, according to preliminary results, the Georgian Dream candidates were successful in each constituency.

This increases the number of seats won by Georgian Dream to 87 overall (45 of which were party-list proportional seats and 42 single-seat), whilst the United National Movement won 63 (32 party-list proportional and 31 single-seat).
