Interim Government appointment sets way for December election


The Macedonian parliament has approved an interim government to look after the country as it heads for elections in December this year. The move is part of a deal to break a political deadlock in the country. The election must now take place within 100 days of the appointment of the interim government according to the EU/US brokered deal.

Parliament is now likely to be dissolved around 11th October with the elections slated to be held on 11th December.
