Leaders sign anti hate deal

Two parties fighting the general election in Macedonia, the Democratic Party of Albanians (DPA) and the Democratic Union for Integration (DUI) signed a deal yesterday not to be nasty to each other.

In the agreement, which was signed by both party leaders, they have agreed to ‘restrain from hate speech, insults and provocations during the campaign’. Both parties have agreed to abide by the declared results in the election which takes place on 5th June.
