Local elections today

Around 30 million Polish voters will be voting today in local elections.

There are around 48,000 regional seats up for election, consisting of 2,500 borough mayors and city leaders along with 46,000 local and village councillors. Voting will take place in 25,000 polling stations from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. local time.
