Published

President Yoweri Museveni has said that he will bring in the army to quell any violent protests following elections in the country this Friday.”If the chaos gets out of hand I will use the army” he said.

The opposition are saying that the election has not been free and fair and that they will bring their supporters out onto the streets to protest. There were similar problems after the 2006 elections. So far the election has been calm with all candidates carrying out a full programme of events.
