Nazarbayev wins

The Central Election Commission has announced that incumbent president, Nursultan Nazarbayev has won the snap poll called for yesterday (Sunday 3rd April 2011).

Preliminary results suggest that the president took 95.5% of the vote on a 89.9% turnout.
