New election date set for 29th November

On behalf of the government of Burkina Faso, Youssef Ouattara, the Minister of Territorial Administration has announced the revised date of the presidential and general election.

The new date for both elections will now be 29th November. The election was delayed from 11th October following a failed coup d’etat attempt last month.
