The Northern Ireland Assembly results, which were delayed through counting problems, have now been released. There has been little change to the overall picture. The results are as follows:

Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) 38 seats (+2)
Sinn Féin 29 seats (+2)
Ulster Unionist Party (UUP) 16 seats (nc)
Social Democratic Labour Party (SDLP) 14 seats (-2)
Alliance Party of Northern Ireland 8 seats (+1)
Traditional Unionist Voice (TUV) 1 seat (+1)
Green 1 seat (nc)
Independent 1 seat (-4)
