One seat changes hands in Liechtenstein general election


The ruling Right-wing Progressive Citizens’ Party (FBP) dropped one seat whilst The Independents picked up a seat in today‚Äôs general election.

The result of the election was as follows:

Right-wing Progressive Citizens’ Party (FBP) 9 seats, down one seat

Centre-right Patriotic Union (VU) 8 seats, no change

The Independents (DU) 5 seats, up one seat

Centre-left Free List (FL) 3 seats, no change

Turnout was 77.8%.
