Opinion poll shows Martelly ahead

An opinion poll conducted by the Bureau of Computer Research and Economic and Social Development (BRIDES), suggests that Michel ‘Sweet Mickey’ Martelly will just beat his opponent Mirlande Manigat to win the presidential election on 20th March.

The poll which was conducted in early March with a poll sample of 6,000 suggests that 50.8% will vote for Martelly of the Peasant’s Response Party and 46.2% will vote for Manigat of the Progressive National Democrats.
