Poll shows Reform Party ahead

Published

A small recent poll in Estonia shows that the Reform Party (ER) has 39% support, with the Centre Party (K) on 25%, the Union of Pro Patria and Res Publica (IRL) on 14% and the Social Democrats (SDE) on 11%.

Experts say that the polls would suggest the Greens and People’s Union of Estonia may not get any seats in the Estonian parliament.  A projected tally of seats would give the Reform Party 47 seats, the Centre Party 28 seats, IRL 15 seats and the Social Democrats 11 seats in the 101 seat Riigikogu.

A general election will take place on 6th March 2011.
