Polls delayed in two states

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has decided to delay polling in two states, Bauchi and Kaduna in Northern Nigeria following the post presidential election riots which are said to have killed up to 500 people.

Elections are due to be held in 29 of the 36 states on Tuesday 26th April for State Governor and state legislators in what will be the third of three rounds to complete elections in Nigeria.
