Presidential election delayed by one week


The Presidential election due to take place on 27th February 2011 has been delayed by one week.

The poll will now take place on 6th March following a request from the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENA) to alow them more time to prepare the voter rolls.

President Yayi Boni is standing and will face 13 other candidates.
