Ruling party wins four by-elections

The ruling Human Rights Protection Party (HRPP) has won four by-elections over the weekend. This gives them 37 of the 49 seats in the Legislative Assembly. The opposition Tautua Samoa Party was not able to make a breakthrough and retains their 12 seats.
