Published

Following concern from many of the opposition presidential candidates and similar concerns now being expressed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI) it looks as though parliament will approve a further delay ‘of a few days’ to Sunday’s Presidential poll.

The United Nations and the African Union have indicated their support for a short delay. The poll which was due on Sunday 6th March may now be delayed by as much as a week. The main concern being that as many as 1 million voters do not appear to have been registered.
