The final round of elections in Serbia takes place today with a second round runoff between incumbent president Boris Tadic of the Democratic Party (DS) taking on opposition leader Tomislav Nikolić of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS).

A total of 8,390 polling stations will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time for the 6,770.013 voters. There are a number of voting points overseas as well as Kosovo which have voted ahead of time.

The most recent polls put Tadic in the lead on 58% to Nikolić’s 42%. In the first round Tadic took 25.31% to Nikolić’s 25.05%.
