Yayi wins election
Incumbent president Boni Yayi has won the 13th March 2011 presidential election according to the electoral commission.
Boni Yayi took 53.1% of the vote and his closest rival, former Prime Minister Adrien Houngbedji, took 35.6%.
The opposition has complained that the election was flawed. The polling day date was delayed twice because of voter registration problems.
