CSSD will move no confidence vote

Published

The Czech Social Democratic Party (CSSD) has said that it will move a motion of no confidence against the government after Easter.

CSSD chairman Bohuslav Sobotka has said that if successful in bringing down the cabinet they will then force early elections; the last elections were in May 2010.

The crisis in the government has come about because of fraud claims against one of the coalition party ministers, Vit Barta of the Public Affairs party (VV).
