Egyptians vote yes to new Constitution

The Egyptian state Middle East News Agency (MENA) has said that the referendum on a new constitution which took place over the past two days has seen an overwhelming majority in favour.

The Agency says that more than 90% voted to support the new constitution and Egypt Independent quotes an Interior Ministry official as saying that turnout exceeded 55%.
