Ex PM forgiven according to poll

Published

A Nielsen poll published in the Sydney Morning Herald today suggests that 55% of voters want ex prime minister and current foreign minister, Kevin Rudd, back in charge.  Only 38% thought that current PM Julia Gillard was doing a better job.

The same poll said that if a general election were held today, 56% would vote for the opposition Liberal/National coalition and only 44% would vote for the governing Labor Party.

In another blow for Julia Gillard, enthusiasm for her carbon pricing flagship policy is waning with 59% opposing the idea.
