Fine Gael and Labour do deal

Fine Gael the largest party in the new Irish parliament and the Labour Party have adone a deal to form a coalition government.

The general election was held on 25th February and the two parties had given themselves until Saturday (5th March) to conclude the deal. Both parties will take the details of the deal to their respective parties today (Sunday 6th March) for approval and expect to publish the details later in the day.
