Published

Following growing protests across Yemen, President Ali Abdullah Saleh has dismissed the governors of five provinces.

They were the governors of the southern provinces of Aden, Lahej, Abyan and Hadhramout and the western province of Houdieda.

Meanwhile opposition leaders have refused to meet the President and are continuing to demand for him to leave and for democratic elections.
