The Estonian government was formally appointed on 6th April. The official announcement as recorded on the government portal is as follows:

The Government lead by Prime Minister Andrus Ansip assumed office on 6 April 2011.

The Government coalition consists of two political parties: Estonian Reform Party (Eesti Reformierakond) and Union of Pro Patria and Res Publica (Isamaa ja Res Publica Liit).
