Jonathan on hold whilst Senate go in to recess

Published

President Goodluck Jonathan was all set to name his new Cabinet, to pass the names on to the Senate for approval, when the Senate decided to take a recess until 28th June.

The reason given for the recess was that offices needed to be prepared and seats allocated in the Chamber.

So President Jonathan and Nigeria will have to wait until his Senators return from holiday to start work on his new government.
