No Cabinet reshuffle

Published

Officials have reported that the expected Cabinet reshuffle is not likely any time soon.  The ruling Democratic Party had been annoyed that their coalition partners, the Golkar and Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), had voted against the government on several occasions.

However, a meeting between President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyno and Golkar Party Chairman, Aburizal Bakrie, seems to have resolved the issue, at least for now.

The opposition have accused the President of weak leadership and being afraid to expose the government.
