PM presents government action plan

Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal has introduced to parliament the Government Action Plan 2012.

The plan covers a series of actions covering political reforms, the nationwide reconciliation process, the fight against terrorism, improving the people’s living environment, maintaining public order and fighting corruption and social plagues.

It also covers housing policy, incentives for private and public investment, employment and market regulation. With regard to business the prime minister said that the business environment will be improved to facilitate investment, enhance the competitiveness of companies and increase domestic production. The prime minister also pledged to reform and modernise the financial sector.
