President Humala approval falls to 27 percent

El Comercio has published a new opinion poll by Ipsos Apoyo showing that President Ollanta Humala’s popularity fell by 2% to 27% in September. Of those polled, 67% felt that he had not kept his promises and ‘is a liar’ states the newspaper.

The issues most concerning people included lack of safety (49%) and rising prices (39%).

Approval of Congress has fallen to 9%.
