Brazil

Rousseff approval down to ten percent

Published

A Datafolha poll published yesterday by the newspaper Folha de S.Paulo shows that 65% of Brazilians assessed President Dilma Rousseff’s record as bad or very bad with just 10% classifying the Worker’s Party (PT) government as good or excellent.

Of most concern to the President will be the rating coming from her traditional support base. In the poorest communities just 11% approve of the President’s record whilst 62% disapprove. Amongst the richest in the country 12% approve and 66% disapprove.
