Salary cut for Ministers

In a first symbolic move towards meeting the new French president’s pledge of a fairer society in France, the French Cabinet has cut its and the president’s salary by 30%.

In other news, Pierre Moscovici, the new Finance Minister has said that France will not ratify the fiscal pact unless it contains measures for growth; currently the pact is a measure for austerity drives in every Eurozone country.
