Thongsing PM again

Thongsing Thammavong was re-elected Prime Minister on Wednesday at the opening session of the seventh Lao National Assembly. He is a member of the politburo of the ruling Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and was first elected to the role on 23rd December 2010.

At the same session, Pany Yathotu was re-elected as the president of the National Assembly.

The first session of the seventh Lao National Assembly will last for ten days until 24th June will also discuss the seventh five year socio-economic development plan to cover 2011 to 2015.
