Published

Poland’s governing party, Civic Platform (PO) saw its support increase over the past month, but Prime Minister Donald Tusk saw his support fall.

A survey by the CBOS Institute is being reported in a number of newspapers. It suggests that support for Donald Tusk has fallen with 53% of those interviewed being critical of his performance.

The governing party Civic Platform saw its support increase to 36% in August whilst the opposition Law and Justice (PiS) dropped 3% to 22% support. In the 2011 election Civic Platform took 39.2% of the vote to become the largest party in the Sejm.
