Yet another day of protests in Yemen

In what is becoming the norm, protesters were out on the streets of Yemen again in all towns and cities in anti government protests in what was called a ‘Friday of Removal’.

Government media said that half the population had turned out to support president Ali Abdullah Saleh in what they dubbed a ‘Friday of Brotherhood’.

This week has seen further defections to the anti-government side including key members of the president’s own tribe.
